FRAMINGHAM - In recognition of the 22nd anniversary of the September 11 attacks, a remembrance ceremony will take place at Cushing Memorial Park in Framingham along Dudley Road.

Residents from and outside of the city are invited to pay tribute to the 17 people with ties to Framingham who died in the attacks. The event will feature a reading of the victims’ names, a presenting of the colors by local first responders, remarks from officials, and more.

The ceremony will take place, rain or shine, at 5:30 p.m. at the park’s September 11 Living Memorial. If inclement weather moves into the area, the event will be shifted to the Cushing Memorial Chapel.
