FRAMINGHAM - Keefe Regional Technical School will be benefitting from a $520,000 grant to expand their adult educational programs.

The school will be using the money, offered through both the fiscal year 2023-24 state budget and federal dollars from the 2021 American Rescue Plan Act, to boost their Keefe at Night offerings. The money will fund their existing Journeyman Plumbing Code and Theory Program as well as the creation of a new HVAC, oil, and gas burner course to certify adults.

State agencies will assist Keefe in the process of admitting candidates into the program, providing them with apprenticeships, and eventually securing their future employment. A total of 20 eligible adults will be able to take advantage of these expanded offerings.

Stakeholders are aiming to address the needs of both the local workforce and employers through this grant.
