Daniel’s Table, a local organization dedicated to providing food security to those in need, makes way for a new facility.

On this week’s edition of Frame by Frame: Daniel’s Table, a local organization dedicated to providing food security to families and individuals in need, says goodbye to their old building—as its demolition makes way for a new facility.

According to Daniel's Table's Executive Director Sandra Montesino, it will take about 18 months to get the new build up and running. Services will continue, however, at the organization's temporary quarters at 54 Park Street.

Local school leaders are progressing through a feasibility study to develop a plan for a new elementary school along Bethany Road, which would replace Hemenway Elementary. The company brought on board for the process estimates that construction could begin in September 2028.

About 23% of registered Framingham voters cast a ballot in 2025. November’s funding for the food program—otherwise known as food stamps—remains uncertain amid the federal government shutdown. In turn, organizations such as Daniel’s Table are experiencing a rise in demand.
